One notable initiative is the Musjid – Ul – Ayesha Islamic Centre, which was founded in 2022 in Amatata. This centre represents a significant step forward in Isizwe's mission to uplift and support rural communities. By establishing Musjid – Ul – Ayesha, Isizwe not only addresses the immediate infrastructural needs of the area but also provides a spiritual and educational hub for the local population.
The Musjid – Ul – Ayesha Islamic Centre offers a range of services and programs designed to improve the quality of life for community members. These include regular prayer services, religious education classes, and community gatherings that foster a sense of unity and support. The centre also aims to address social issues by providing counselling and support services, which help individuals and families navigate various challenges.
The recent collaboration with HUDA SA is expected to further these efforts, ensuring that the centre continues to meet the evolving needs of the Amatata community. This partnership is anticipated to bring additional resources and expertise, enhancing the impact of the Musjid – Ul – Ayesha Islamic Centre and furthering Isizwe's mission of providing aid and guidance to those in need, Insha’Allah.
An ambitious project has been proposed to empower the surrounding community through job creation, skills development, and the provision of essential resources. This initiative aims to address several critical needs, including the establishment of a service station and a shopping centre, which will not only create employment opportunities but also provide convenient access to goods and services for local residents. Additionally, a Skills F.E.T/IT Centre is planned to offer vocational training and IT education, equipping community members with valuable skills to enhance their employment prospects. A Muslim burial facility is also included in the project to meet the cultural and religious needs of the community. By focusing on these essential services and infrastructure, the initiative aims to improve the overall quality of life for the community, fostering economic growth and social cohesion. Nonetheless these are all long-termed plans for the Islamic Centre.
